The Aalto University Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious, merit-based award for outstanding international students applying to Master’s programs at Aalto University in Finland.

To qualify for the Aalto University Master’s Scholarships 2026, applicants must:

  • Firstly, hold a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to 180 ECTS (or three years of full-time study).
  • Second, meet the English language proficiency requirements (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent).
  • Thirdly, apply to a Master’s program at Aalto University and opt-in for the scholarship during the same application process.
  • Lastly, be liable to pay tuition fees, as the scholarship applies only to fee-paying students.
