🎓 Scholarship Programs
This scholarship specifically funds the European Master in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG).
- Funded By: The European Union (EU).
- Degree Level: Master’s Degree, spanning 24 months (2 Years).
- Focus: Specialized training in Animal Biodiversity, Breeding, and Genomics, tackling global challenges in food security and conservation.
- Study Mobility: The program requires mobility. Consequently, you will study at a minimum of two universities from the six-partner consortium: Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, France, Germany, and Norway.
- Application Period: Finally, note that applications are open from 15 September 2025 to 15 January 2026.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this highly competitive scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Nationality
- Simply put, the scholarship is open to All Nationals worldwide.
Academic Qualification
- Firstly, you must hold a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in Animal Science or a strongly related field (e.g., Veterinary Science, Genetics, Agriculture, Biology).
- However, if your degree is in a different discipline, you must demonstrate a strong academic background in core areas such as basic sciences (e.g., genetics, statistics) and animal production (e.g., animal breeding, nutrition).
English Proficiency
- In addition, proof of strong English command is mandatory, typically via a test score no older than two years.
- Accepted Scores:
- Academic IELTS: Minimum 7.0 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in speaking).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum 92 overall (with a minimum of 23 in speaking).
- Cambridge: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.

- Two Letters of Recommendation (from previous professors or employers).
- Naturally, your valid English Language Proficiency Certificate.
